Dr. Wade Markland has been practicing child, adolescent and adult psychiatry in Colorado since 1998 when he joined a non-profit community mental health center in Adams County, the Community Reach Center. He enjoyed working with Spanish speaking only clients, their children, kids and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as people who have ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety and schizophrenia. As Colorado grew and more people were driving, his commute to Westminster and Brighton became too long and after 21 years, he left CRC.
Dr. Markland joined Dr. Lerner's practice in October 2019. He feels "It has been wonderful working with Dr. Joey Lerner". We are delighted with his expertise and enthusiasm and that he has chosen to join us.
Dr. Joey Lerner has been practicing child and adolescent psychiatry in Boulder County since 1988. Prior to that, hewas on the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver. Although his focus has been on helping children, adolescents and their families, so many of his patients have grown up that he now also see many adults for treatment.
Dr. Lerner treats almost all psychiatric conditions, but especially ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders, since those are the most common.
